MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: ZOOP – Connecting Users & Service Providers in Every Sector of the On-Demand Services

Mobile applications have come a long way from small productivity apps like calculator, calendar, personal phone book and simple entertaining games like “Snake”. Nowadays, the applications have been developed to make our life easier; even our favourite meal can be delivered right at our doorstep.

In this month member spotlight, we would like to introduce you Khundker Hafizur Rahim, Managing Director of ZOOP International Co., Ltd. – the new mobile application that makes your life hassle-free and you can get access to a variety of day-to-day on-demand services, all in one app!

Let’s start with the basics. Who is ZOOP and what is your role in the company?

My name is Hafiz, Managing Director of ZOOP. ZOOP is a mobile application offering day-to-day on-demand services, such as cleaner, handyman or even someone to come and pick up your clothes for laundry service etc., for people living in Thailand.

Can you tell us a little about the history of ZOOP ? When was it founded, what sparked it, etc.?

At the end of May 2020, one of my business partners came to me with the idea of creating a simple, smart tech platform for technicians and service providers to engage with consumers in a hassle-free environment and generate jobs and opportunities for freelancers and SMEs. ZOOP application will be launched in Q3 of 2022.

Who would benefit the most from your application?

Of course, the users and service providers as it will give extensive opportunities to the workforce/service providers, as well as the customer to enjoy the ease and comfort in finding a variety of services through qualified people.

What are the most challenging things when launching an app?

The most challenging things for launching the apps are: first to check what services are available on the market so we can put them on the right format and second how to verify the service providers.

How has the Covid-19 pandemic affected you and your business – positively or negatively?

As mentioned in the beginning, the project has been created in 2020, right at the time the pandemic started. There were some researches indicating that people in Thailand are using online service via various apps and, because of that, we saw an opportunity for ZOOP to create an all-in-one app so that users don’t have to access multiple applications.

Let’s talk a little about you. What do you enjoy when you are not working?

I enjoy hanging out with friends and family at nice restaurants and shopping malls. Because of the vibrant and convenience of going from one place to another I love living in Thailand.

What made you choose Antares Offices as your home base for your company?
